During one of her interviews she was asked about her next project, bringing The Host to life onscreen. Also, Stephenie gives us an update on the next two novels in The Host Trilogy. She states that she has some of the next two novels written, but nothing is set to be released anytime soon.

Saoirse Ronan was also mentioned in the interview, and like many fans of the book, Stephenie was skeptical at first with her playing the role of Melanie. But she has seen her acting skills and has no doubt that she can bring the character to life.
